At Glow Girls Club, girls are supported through a journey designed to build confidence, develop life skills and prepare for the future. Each stage provides the guidance, experiences and support needed to help girls grow, explore opportunities and step into their potential.
11–12 Years Old
Glow Sparks
Where confidence begins
Glow Sparks supports girls aged 11–12 as they begin preparing for the transition from primary school to secondary school.
Sessions focus on building self-belief, friendships and independence while helping girls adjust to new responsibilities and expectations.
Workshops and activities may include:
- Homework support and study habits.
- Preparing for high school.
- Traveling safely and building independence.
- Organising schoolwork and responsibilities.
- Confidence-building and teamwork activities.
13–15 Years Old
Glow Rising
Exploring identity, friendships and potential
Glow Rising supports girls aged 13–15 as they navigate their teenage years and begin preparing for GCSEs.
Sessions focus on personal development, communication skills and exploring opportunities while building confidence and resilience.
Activities may include:
- GCSE preparation and study support
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Understanding personal development during the teenage years
- Volunteering opportunities and leadership development
Participants may also begin supporting Glow Sparks sessions, gaining early mentoring experience.
16–17 Years Old
Glow Trailblazers
Developing leadership and ambition
Glow Trailblazers supports girls aged 16–17 as they prepare for life during and after GCSEs.
Sessions explore important transitions such as moving into sixth form or college while helping girls build confidence in their ambitions and future plans.
Activities may include:
- Exploring life after GCSEs
- Understanding sixth form and college pathways
- Career exploration and networking opportunities
- Leadership and mentoring development
Participants may also support Glow Rising groups and gain opportunities to learn from older participants.
18–21 Years Old
Glow Changemakers
Preparing for careers, entrepreneurship and impact
Glow Changemakers supports young women aged 18–21 as they transition into adulthood and begin exploring the world of work.
Participants gain exposure to real-world opportunities through workshops, mentorship and partnerships with schools, organisations and companies.
Sessions may include:
- Career and employment preparation
- Networking opportunities and mentorship
- Workshops delivered with schools, organisations and companies
- Exploring apprenticeships, university pathways and entrepreneurship
Participants who complete this program may graduate as Glow Girls Club Ambassadors, supporting younger participants and helping lead future initiatives.
